Aquarium Soil Powder 3 liters - Tropica
Aquarium Soil Powder ensures good and active growth right from the start, and it gives an extra boost to the red shades on the plants. It is a complete substrate that can be used without the use of other types of substrate. Aquarium Soil Powder is also an active substrate that lowers the pH and slightly affects the chemistry of the water. Therefore, we recommend a minimum of 2 weekly water changes (25-50% of the water) for the first 4 weeks after the aquarium has been started.
How much Soil Powder should I use if it is to make up the entire base layer?
Measure the length and width of your aquarium in cm, for example 90 x 60 cm.
Consider how thick a layer of Soil you want, for example 8 cm.
With a sloping bottom layer, which is higher at the back of the aquarium, you achieve a good visual effect.
The calculation is then, length x width x layer thickness divided by 1000.
Here: 90 x 60 x 8/1000 = 43.2 L Soil/Soil Powder.
Aquarium Soil Powder is used when setting up a new aquarium. The fine-grained active substrate is especially suitable for foreground plants – see here how to use it
Aquarium Soil Powder is a complete active substrate that is used without the use of any other substrate.
The fine grain size makes Powder suitable for foreground plants.
