Works by absorbing the animal's body heat - it feels cool to the touch, but cools further when your pet's body weight rests on it. It is better for your dog or cat to be cooled gradually than to suddenly experience an icy surface.

The mattress contains a non-toxic gel. Unlike many similar products, the mattress does not need to be activated by water, freezing or electricity to cool.

Cleaning is easy - just wipe with a damp cloth.

Practical in hot weather, either in the car or at the cottage. Also helps if your dog or cat has an illness that requires cooling.

Can be advantageously placed in the refrigerator for cooling to obtain a lower starting temperature.

Once your pet's body heat has "heated" the mat, simply cool it down again by leaving it in the open air for a while and releasing its heat.
