When you feed your fish, the feed usually floats on the surface of the water where it is spread out, but feed that is not eaten immediately disappears into decorations and filters where it slowly rots and pollutes the water. The difference with EHEIM's feeding station is that the feed distribution is controlled from the feed container - under the water. The fishermen are already waiting and the feed can't drift so far - everything is eaten and the water is kept clean longer.
