Fish as a snack is very popular with many dogs

Fish is a healthy supplement to a species-appropriate diet for dogs. Cod contains many vitamins, essential amino acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Dogs cannot produce these amino acids themselves and must therefore obtain them from their diet. What is special about fish is its high content of omega-3 fatty acids. These often have anti-inflammatory effects, support heart health and are involved in many other processes in the dog's body. Cod also contains many B vitamins, making it a true nutritional booster.
